Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians
and Gays (PFLAG) is a national nonprofit
organization that promotes the health and
well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender persons, their families and
friends through support to cope with an
adverse society; education to enlighten an
ill-informed public; and advocacy to end discrimination
and to secure equal civil rights.
Scholarships are awarded by PFLAG National
level as well as many local chapters.
Eligible applicants can receive both.
PFLAG is proud to support these articulate,
accomplished scholars with great promise
for future contribution to our society in general
and to the cause of rights and recognition
for LGBT people in particular.

CHCI's scholarship opportunities are afforded to Latino students in the United States who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who demonstrate a desire to continue their civic engagement in the future. There is no GPA or academic major requirement. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
